FSU Anne's College The Anne Spencer Daves College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences at Florida State University.

The roots of FSU’s College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences date back to the university’s establishment, and it is the oldest college of its kind in Florida. Recently expanded in 2023, the College is home to six academic departments united through a common goal to maximize human potential. In total, the College includes the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies, Department of Educational Psychology & Learning Systems, Department of Human Development & Family Sciences, Department of Nutrition & Integrative Physiology, Department of Sport Management, School of Teacher Education, numerous research centers, and three laboratory schools (Florida State University School, FSU Pembroke Pines Charter School, and The Collegiate School at FSU Panama City). The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences serves over 4,500 students via 187 full-time faculty and 73 full-time staff.

From the classroom to the sidelines! Spend a day in the life with Kylee Saltsman, a sport management student at Anne's College who is double majoring in marketing. In addition to a marketing internship with FSU Athletics, Kylee serves as president of the Women in Sports Association at FSU and is a feature twirler with the FSU Marching Chiefs.

Congratulations to Dr. Jeffrey James, Chair of the Florida State University Department of Sport Management at Anne's College, on receiving the Career Achievement Award from his alma mater, The Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology.

The Career Achievement Award is one of the most prestigious alumni honors awarded by the college. It celebrates careers defined not only by individual excellence, but also by a lasting impact on the field through teaching and mentoring. Dean Damon Andrew and Associate Professor Amy Chan Hyung Kim joined Dr. James in Columbus, Ohio, to celebrate his achievement alongside his family.

Congratulations to the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Community Tutoring Program at Anne's College on receiving the Sunshine State TESOL Institutional Effectiveness Award!

Each semester, the program provides more than 230 multilingual learners with free tutoring while offering future educators valuable, hands-on teaching experience. With nearly 2,500 hours of tutoring each semester, the program exemplifies the college's commitment to educator preparation, student success, and community engagement.
