π Help Us Build Our Loose Parts Collection! π
Did you know that some of the best learning tools are everyday items that might otherwise end up in the recycling bin?
At FSU Childcare & Early Learning Program, we use Loose Parts Play to encourage creativity, problem-solving, imagination, and open-ended exploration. Loose parts are items that children can move, combine, design, redesign, and tinker with in countless ways, turning simple materials into endless learning opportunities!
We're currently looking for donations of items such as:
πΉ PVC pipe pieces and scraps
πΉ Glass jars with lids
πΉ Plastic bottles with caps
πΉ Cardboard tubes
πΉ Buttons, keys, and wooden spools
πΉ Fabric, rope, wire, and shells
πΉ Stones and wood pieces
πΉ Bottle caps and pouch lids
πΉ Translucent items for light table exploration
πΉ And more!
Before you toss those treasures, consider donating them to our classrooms! Your unwanted items can become tools for creativity, discovery, and learning.
Donations can be dropped off at our center. Every contribution helps us create richer learning experiences for the children in our care.
π‘ One person's recyclables can become a child's next great invention!
Thank you for helping us inspire creativity through play. β€οΈ
