Earlier this month, our team had the opportunity to tour the Master Craftsman Studio and get a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work they do - not just across FSU’s campus, but throughout Tallahassee!
Founded in the 1999-2000 academic year under FSU President Talbot “Sandy” D’Alemberte, the Studio was the first of its kind in the country, created to give back to students through creativity, hands-on artistic learning, and entrepreneurship.
From stained glass and metalworking to woodworking and 3D printing, this full service studio is responsible for many of the iconic sculptures, unique architectural details, stained glass installations, signage, and artwork we’ve come to know and love. They even brought the bronze number plates we designed for our Washington, D.C. property to life (swipe to last photo)! ❤️
How many of FSU Master Craftsman Studio’s iconic creations do you recognize? ✨
