Future Rattlers, the countdown is on!

Fall 2026 transfer applications are due in just 2 weeks. If you’re planning to transfer to FAMU, be sure to submit your application by June 15 to be considered for admission.

Please note: The application deadline is not the same as the document deadline. Students will have an additional 2–3 weeks after June 15 to submit required documents such as official transcripts and other supporting materials.

🎉 You’ve been admitted… now it’s time for the next steps! 🧡💚🐍

We’ve loved seeing so many admitted Rattlers already securing their spots, signing up for orientation, and preparing for move in season! If you haven’t completed your next steps yet, this is your reminder to get started now. 👀

✅ STEP 1: Submit your $150 enrollment deposit to secure your spot and unlock your next steps
• Summer B admitted students: deposit deadline is TOMORROW, May 15
• Fall admitted students: deposit deadline is May 29

✅ STEP 2: Register for orientation through your application portal
Orientation is MANDATORY for all incoming freshmen

✅ STEP 3: Complete your housing application and submit your $200 housing deposit
Incoming freshmen are required to live on campus and housing assignments are already starting to go out! 👏🏾

Your FAMU experience is getting closer by the day and we can’t wait to welcome the newest class of Rattlers to the Highest of Seven Hills! ✨🐍

The numbers are in and the future of The Hill is looking BRIGHT! 🧡💚🐍

As of today, the Florida A&M University Class of 2030 is shaping up to be one of our strongest yet with more than 32,000 applications reviewed and over 8,000 future Rattlers admitted from across the country.

From first-generation scholars to dual enrollment standouts, this incoming class represents excellence, ambition, and undeniable Rattler spirit.

We are incredibly proud of the tireless work of our Admissions team for helping build such an outstanding class, and even more excited to welcome each of our new students to the FAMULY.
