Applicants participating in DIVE Screening Day today moved through a series of assessments, interviews, VR activities, and technical challenges as part of the selection process for the program's upcoming cohort. It was great to see participants engage with technology, demonstrate their abilities, and take the next step toward new educational and career opportunities!

Congratulations to the Digital Learning Training and Support team on receiving their second Association for Talent Development (ATD) Excellence in Practice Award!
Their fully online workshop, Course Enhancement with Generative AI, was recognized for its engaging design, effective skill development approach, and demonstrated impact on learners.

USF's Innovative Education will be represented at the 4th Annual Teach with AI Conference June 11-14.

We're excited to have Michael Rodriguez Delgado and Janine Diaz Cotto presenting The AI Thinking Partner: Practical Approaches to Assessment Design, exploring ways to create meaningful, AI-aware assessments that promote critical thinking and authentic learning.

Alley Ward and Desiree Henderson will present Inside AI-Enhanced Courses: Intentional Criteria for Practical Gen-AI Integration, showcasing insights and outcomes from USF's AI-Augmented Course Pilot and practical approaches to responsible AI integration in course design.

Lindsey Mercer Ed.D. will be presenting on "How Faculty are Using Generative AI: An Analysis of Over 300 "GenAI Plans" for Course Enhancement."

Congratulations to InEd’s Dr. Koichi Sato on an upcoming publication in Teaching Professor!

His article, “From Faceless Slides to Personal Connection: A Rapid AI Avatar Workflow for Busy Faculty” introduces a practical method for adding a personalized talking AI avatar to online lectures in under 10 minutes. Designed for efficiency and scalability, the workflow allows faculty to replace faceless voiceovers with a more engaging presence across an entire course without the need for a studio or large budget.
