It has been such a joy meeting so many of you and your students as you’ve arrived on campus! Week of Welcome kicks off today, and here are some highlights for the weekend to encourage your student to attend:

🎉 Sparty’s First Night – Friday at 7:15 p.m.
Big silver bell tower = Ars Sonora. That’s the spot! From there, Spartans will take their official class photo, snag some free giveaways, and dance the night away at a campus block party. Their very first Friday night as a Spartan will be unforgettable!

🎓 New Student Convocation – Saturday
Convocation is the official start of their academic journey at UTampa. Hosted by each college, it’s a chance to connect with faculty and peers. Haven’t declared a major yet? No problem—students can attend whichever they’d like!

College of Natural and Health Sciences - 9AM
College of Business - 11AM
College of Arts and Letters - 1PM
College of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education - 3PM

Encourage your student to grab the Involve app (they received a flyer in their dorm, and can access from their MyUTampa) to RSVP for events, get reminders, and always have the latest info in their pocket.
