Take a break, relax and recharge with some furry friends at the Shimberg Health Sciences Library. Therapy dogs will be on hand for plenty of pets and stress relief, and the COPH Activist Lab will be joining in on the fun!

Congratulations to alumnus Dr. Jeremy Corrigan!

From his beginnings in rural Alaska to leading the San Diego County Public Health Laboratory, Corrigan's career has been defined by leadership, innovation and a commitment to strengthening the public health workforce. His impact was recently recognized with the Association of Public Health Laboratories' LEAD Award.

Congratulations to undergrad student Ivan Martinez Diez-Muro and his interdisciplinary research team for earning national recognition for their innovative space-related research!

Their project exploring water purification technologies for space missions received a Top 3 honorable mention in the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program, showcasing how public health research can help shape the future of space exploration—and improve life here on Earth.
