Honoring the Life of Sergiy Omelayenko, CRNA
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is with both deep sorrow and heartfelt remembrance that we share the establishment of the Sergiy Omelayenko Nurse Anesthesiology Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship honors the life and legacy of our beloved colleague and friend, Sergiy Omelayenko, a 2020 graduate of the University of South Florida Nurse Anesthesiology Program and an extraordinary CRNA whose compassion, dedication, and spirit touched so many.
Sergiy was more than a skilled clinician, he was a source of strength, kindness, and inspiration to all who knew him. In his memory, we have created this scholarship to support future nurse anesthesiology students who embody the same excellence and heart that Sergiy brought to his work every day.
We would like to share that if total contributions to the fund reach $25,000, the scholarship will become an endowment. This means it will provide ongoing, growing support to residents in perpetuity, with annual disbursements generated from accrued interest, ensuring that Sergiy’s legacy continues to uplift and inspire generations to come!
We are deeply grateful for every contribution made in Sergiy’s honor. Your generosity not only celebrates his life but also helps shape the future of nurse anesthesiology, just as Sergiy strived to do, through the students who will benefit from this meaningful gift.
