We are also thrilled to announce that we have chosen Olivia as our Alumnae Top Tau for 2021. We would not have been able to move forward as a group in the last year without Olivia’s passion and “stick-to-it” spirit. It is not everyday that a first year alumna comes along and says “I can do that” or “I’m happy to do that” for the association or for the love of AST. We are so very happy for Olivia as she is moving to pursue her goals of grad school. It goes without saying that we will miss you so much, Olivia! March 24, 2021 – – marks the day when the average woman will have earned the same amount that the average man earned at the end of 2020. Women are, on average, paid 82 cents to every dollar their male counterpart makes. We need for women everywhere.

Today, AΣT National President Jamie Jones Miller is featured by Dress for Success's "31 Days of Women in Power!"

Alpha Sigma Tau has joined forces with Dress for Success for their annual fundraising campaign Your Hour, Her Power. This initiative calls on individuals to give just one hour of pay to help women achieve financial independence and upward mobility.

This year, Dress for Success introduces “31 Days of Women in Power” as an extension of their annual Your Hour, Her Power campaign. In light of the pandemic’s disproportionate impact on women, “31 Days of Women in Power” strives to inspire hope and resilience among women at a time when it is needed most.

We are proud to share that Jamie is one of these featured women inspiring others. She joins presidents, executives, and founders of organizations such as Edward Jones, FedEx, Calvin Klein, and Verizon recognized by Dress for Success.
