Spring 2026 - Lori-Anne Harley
Our spring 2026 sister spotlight is on Lori-Anne Harley. Lori-Anne Harley was born in Massachusetts but early in life moved to Indiana. She pledged the Beta Pi Chapter at Indiana State University in 1989, where she found a true home in Gamma Phi Beta. Although she attended ISU alongside her two biological sisters - each of them graduating together with different degrees - and lived off campus for financial reasons, she fully embraced the richness of sorority life. From sisterhood events to serving as a Panhellenic Council representative, her college experience was deeply shaped by the connections and leadership opportunities Gamma Phi provided. After earning her degree in accounting and beginning her professional career, she joined the Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter, where her sorority experience continued to grow. One of the most meaningful traditions to come out of that time was a Euchre group formed by 8–10 sisters from various chapters. What began as a simple gathering became a cherished tradition spanning over 20 years - strengthening friendships, supporting local initiatives, and celebrating the enduring bond of sisterhood. When relocating to Florida in 2014 (with her husband and two sons), she carried those connections and values with her. After settling in, she had the opportunity to attend Gamma Phi Beta’s 150th anniversary celebration in Orlando, where she was warmly welcomed by members of the Tampa Bay Alumnae Chapter. This introduction marked the beginning of a new and meaningful phase of involvement and friendship. Through every stage of life, Gamma Phi Beta’s motto - love, labor, learning, and loyalty - has remained a guiding force. The lessons learned and relationships built continue to ground her, a constant reminder that sisterhood is not just a chapter of life, but a lifelong journey.
