If you currently practice in Florida and are committed to supporting the education and growth of future APRNs, the University of Tampa invites you to consider serving as a clinical preceptor for this upcoming Fall-2026 Semester! Our students need your guidance, mentorship and support now more than ever.
We are currently searching for preceptors working in the following areas:
Primary Care
Internal Medicine
Pediatrics
Women’s

To recognize the time and expertise that you dedicate to mentoring and serving our students as clinical preceptors, UTampa offers the following preceptor benefits:
• A $500 honorarium for each student successfully precepted for 192 clinical hours.
• Preceptor certificates documenting hours worked with students, eligible for submission to the Board of Nursing/Board of Medicine for CEUs.
• The opportunity to mentor and shape the next generation of nurse practitioners.
