We’re hiring three faculty members to join our program in Tampa.

Minimum qualifications:

▪ Earned doctorate in Counselor Education, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program, or a closely related field
▪ Meets university criteria for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
▪ Possession of, or eligibility for, Florida LMHC licensure or CRC status within one year of employment

Faculty will teach in-person courses and contribute as core faculty through teaching, research and external grant funding, graduate student mentoring and advising, and community and professional service.

Congratulations to Jacob Miltenberger, academic service administrator, for being named a recipient of the CBCS Internal Scholarship Award. 👏

Congratulations to CFS staff members Jacob Miltenberger, M.Ed., PMP, and Lourdes Quinones, PT, MA, on being named recipients of the CBCS Internal Scholarship Award! 🎉

Both scholarship recipients are pursuing doctoral degrees while contributing to the department. Miltenberger is working toward a doctorate in Interdisciplinary Education, and Quiñones is pursuing a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.

Reflecting on the impact of her studies, Quiñones shared:
“I believe that my PhD in Curriculum and Instruction will help open the way for me to continue training Florida educators in the area of autism and teacher inquiry.”
