Always looking for ways to help out our Tampa Bay community! DSGS + AMSGS hosted a bake sale and raised $125 in just 3 hours for March of Dimes and worked with students from the College of Nursing to encourage more than 50 students and faculty to register for the Be The Match Donor Registry to help 14,000 people in the US in need of a bone marrow transplant! Some of our officers spent their Friday morning meeting some very special people! We helped screen athletes for height, weight, BMI and blood pressure and provided education on to***co avoidance, sun safety, and hydration. Thank you for having us Special Olympics Florida Healthy Community - Tampa Bay! We had such a great time helping out :)
