Greetings Brothers of the Third District,

Happy Mother's Day! Mother's Day is a special time for us to honor, celebrate, and show appreciation for the incredible women who have poured love into our lives — mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures alike. Today, we recognize their sacrifices, selflessness, strength, and unwavering commitment to family and faith.
For those whose mothers are no longer with us, may their love and memory continue to live forever in your hearts. Take a moment to reflect on the laughter, wisdom, guidance, and unconditional love they shared. Let's continue to cherish the moments and lessons that continue to shape and encourage us each day.

Brothers, let us continue to cherish, honor, and protect the mothers in our lives. Their impact is immeasurable, and it is our responsibility to uplift and support them. As written in Proverbs 31:25-26: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue."

From the day of our birth, mothers demonstrate unconditional love through their strength and devotion. They guide us, encourage us, and walk beside us through life's challenges and triumphs. They inspire us to live our creed through action, perseverance, and faith. Even when life becomes difficult, their words and examples remind us to keep climbing and never give up.

Let us never underestimate the power of mother's small acts of love and appreciation. A mother's kind word, a phone call, time spent together, or simply saying "thank you" can mean more than we realize. Real men honor and appreciate the first woman who loved them unconditionally.

Today, the Brothers of Mu Xi Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. were honored to sponsor breakfast for the outstanding faculty and staff of Essex High School — and what an incredible experience it was!

Those who dedicate their lives to educating, mentoring, and supporting our youth deserve to be celebrated. This breakfast was simply a token of appreciation for the countless hours, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment shown to students each and every day.

We extend special appreciation to Brother OD Washington for coordinating with school administration and assisting with the menu preparations, as well as Brother Randy and all of the Brothers who contributed to make this effort a success.

At Mu Xi Nu, we believe community partnerships matter, service matters, and investing in our schools matters. We remain committed to making a positive and visible impact throughout the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

Last evening, the Brothers of Mu Xi Nu Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. were honored to participate in the Essex High School Senior Night Scholarship Program in Tappahannock, Virginia.

The chapter was warmly received by students, faculty, staff, parents, and community members as we continued our commitment to uplifting and investing in the next generation of leaders throughout the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

As part of the program, Mu Xi Nu Chapter proudly presented a scholarship to a deserving graduating senior in recognition of academic achievement, perseverance, and future promise.

Scholarship remains one of the cardinal principles of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and we remain committed to supporting educational excellence within our communities.

We extend sincere appreciation to Ms. Kristen Brooks and the Essex High School Guidance Department for the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful program.
