ā€œJust got back from an amazing and unforgettable week in Honduras with Global Brigades! I went on a 7 day public health brigade and throughout the week, we built a latrine for Carmen and her family in the Suyapa community, trenched for a water pipe, and taught children about air pollution and waste management. It was hard work, but it is easy to forget that when you are surrounded by the most wonderful friends, staff, children and families. Everyone in the rural communities are incredibly welcoming, and they want to give you so much when they have so little. I am so blessed to have had this opportunity, to have learned so much, and to have embarked on this journey with GB. Can’t wait for the next one!ā€ -
