Sigma Phi Epsilon's Arizona Alpha chapter remains one of the oldest standing and most successful fraternities at Arizona State University. Founded February 16th, 1952, SigEp at ASU continually strives to be excellent in the 3 Cardinal Principles for which it stands: Virtue, Diligence and Brotherly Love. The chapter at ASU currently consists of 120 active members; making it one of the biggest frate
rnities on campus. SigEp was originally founded at Richmond College, now the University of Richmond, on November 1st, 1901 and is the third largest fraternity nationally. Currently, the fraternity boasts 289,000 lifetime members which includes 13,500 current undergraduates on 260 campuses across the United States. With a strong focus on academic success a potential new member should:
- Have a minimum 3.00 GPA
- Become familiar with the active members through attendance of as many recruitment events as possible
- Be genuinely driven in personal development in all aspects of life
- Be looking to further leadership ability as well as community involvement
- Share the same ambition as SigEp in maintaining the high standard for which it is known for locally and nationally
The national motto of "Building Balanced Men" is evident in all that AZ Alpha pursues and can be seen in our accomplishments in academics, athletics, and service. Awards:
