Javier Ramirez knows what service, dedication, and lifelong learning look like.

A husband, veteran, and public servant, Javier is this year's recipient of the SGT Michael Beckerman Memorial Scholarship. Inspired by four generations of military service, he's pursuing his passion for fi****ms technology while honoring a legacy of sacrifice and commitment.

His goal goes beyond becoming a skilled gunsmith. Javier hopes to build a shop that also serves as a place to mentor local high school students, helping inspire the next generation of craftsmen.

A massive win for the Second Amendment community just landed in the Jensen case, and the impact cannot be overstated.

Congratulations to Hinmaton Hisler, recipient of the Master Gunsmith Kip Carpenter Memorial Scholarship.

Hinmaton's passion for craftsmanship began early, growing up in an unconventional environment that encouraged curiosity, creativity, and hands-on problem solving. From fine metalworking and stone masonry to blacksmithing, machining, and advanced manufacturing, he has spent a lifetime mastering the art of building.

An entrepreneur and process engineer at an iron foundry in Richmond, Virginia, Hinmaton has founded six businesses, designed products sold around the world, and continues to restore classic trucks while operating under his Type 07 FFL. He now looks forward to taking the next step by launching his gunsmithing and manufacturing business, MVM Works (Machinae Vitae et Mortis).

We look forward to seeing where this next chapter takes you.

The agency is also seeking public comment on potential restrictions for certain foreign-produced, military-grade UAS technologies.

As unmanned aircraft become more common, so does the need to prepare for emerging security threats.

The FBI has officially opened the National Counter-Unmanned Training Center at Redstone Arsenal, the first facility of its kind dedicated to training law enforcement and security professionals to detect, assess, and counter UAS threats. The center will also play a role in preparing for major events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics.
