The 55th Eastern Regional Conference was AMAZING!

One of the beautiful things about the conference was the opportunity for Sorors to participate either in person or virtually. Our virtual attendees didn’t miss a beat!

Virtual participation provided flexibility while allowing Sorors to stay connected, remain informed about the important initiatives and work happening throughout Delta and the Eastern Region, and bring valuable information and ideas back to strengthen our chapter and local programming.

And because conference is about more than meetings and business, our virtual Sorors made sure there was time for a little fellowship and fun too!

The 4th Annual Stronger Together 5K Walk/Run is here, supporting ZERO Prostate Cancer (ZERO Prostate Cancer)!

Hosted by the Prince George’s County Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. (PG County Sigmas | Zeta Chi Sigma Alumni Chapter) in partnership with the Blue Bridge Foundation, this event brings our community together for a cause that hits home for too many families.

Last year, 300+ people showed up strong. Together, we raised over $3,000 for prostate cancer awareness and research—and provided 31 on-site PSA screenings through Howard University Cancer Center’s mobile health unit.

This year, we’re building on that impact.

With continued support from community partners and growing awareness, we’re pushing to reach more people, raise more resources, and continue the fight against prostate cancer.

This is bigger than a run. It’s about showing up, taking action, and standing together.

Our beloved National Chaplain Emerita, Soror Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie, a treasured daughter of The East, will be honored at Baltimore Honors on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

For decades, Bishop McKenzie has inspired, uplifted, and led with grace, faith, courage, and unwavering commitment to service. Now it’s our turn to celebrate her extraordinary legacy and surround her with the love of her Eastern Region family.

This year, the Eastern Region Impact Day, Nurture Nest Initiative, is committed to making a tangible difference for mothers and babies in the Baltimore community.

Together, we are working to:

Provide 250 mothers with essential items for themselves and their babies.

Celebrate 30 expectant mothers with a community baby shower, ensuring they have the resources needed for a healthy pregnancy and birth.

These families are counting on us, and every act of kindness makes a difference.
