Last Tuesday marked an exciting milestone as we hosted our first Interprofessional Education (IPE) experience in our new Simulation Center!

Temple College Nursing students and faculty, Temple College EMS students and faculty, Baylor College of Medicine students and faculty, community volunteers, and our TC Simulation Center faculty came together to make this experience possible.

Through collaboration and hands-on learning, students had the opportunity to gain meaningful experience working as part of a diverse, interprofessional healthcare team—building communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills that are essential to providing quality patient care.

Meet the newest class of future nurses! 🩺✨

Today our Vocational Nursing students stepped into the simulation lab for their very first hands-on skills experience. From taking vital signs to learning patient assessments, they are already building the foundation for compassionate, skilled patient care.

It’s exciting to watch these students begin their nursing journey, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the months ahead. 💙
