Have you checked your voter registration recently? The deadline to register to vote in the midterm election is October 5th. If you are not currently registered to vote, stop by the Hubert M. Dawson Library to get registered!

Voter registrars will be set up in the library on Thursday, September 10th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Tuesday, September 15th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Please bring a valid Texas ID or driver's license.

Are you looking for your next adventure?! You just found it.

A new tabletop role-playing game group is starting in the library! While our current Dungeons & Dragons party is full, this new group will embark on quests in a variety of worlds and games. Come check it out!

If you have never played a TTRPG (tabletop role-playing game) but you like "nerdy" (awesome) things and are looking for a group to hang out with, join us next Friday in the Hubert M. Dawson Library from 10 AM - 2 PM. Learn how to play introductory TTRPGs like Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes of the Borderlands and Goblin Quest, level up, and create your own adventures!

Payers of all levels are welcome and there is no registration required.

Today we are remembering Dolly Parton. This absolute legend made it her mission to get as many books into the hands of children as possible.

Since 1995, when Imagination Library launched, the Dollywood Foundation has given away over 200 million books to children. Thank you, Dolly for everything you have done -- country music and Steel Magnolias included -- to foster a love of reading in our youth.
