Ivy Tech Terre Haute/Greencastle Chancellor Lea Anne Crooks will retire effective May 28, 2027, after more than 30 years of dedicated service to Ivy Tech Community College and the communities of West Central Indiana.

Since becoming chancellor in 2017, Lea Anne has helped lead the campus through tremendous growth, expanding educational opportunities, strengthening workforce partnerships, and advancing student success across the region.

We are grateful for her leadership, vision, and commitment to our students, faculty, staff, and communities, and we look forward to celebrating her many contributions throughout the coming year.

New Scholarship Opportunity for Putnam County Students now available!

Ivy Tech Community College Terre Haute will provide new educational opportunities for Putnam County residents impacted by substance use disorder through the newly established Putnam County Recovery Scholarship funded by the Putnam County Community Foundation.

The scholarship will provide six $1,000 awards for the Fall 2026 semester to students pursuing a credential through Ivy Tech's Terre Haute campus or Greencastle site. Eligible applicants must reside in Putnam County and either be actively in recovery from substance use disorder for at least six months or have an immediate family member who has struggled with substance use disorder.

Congratulations to these Parke County students!

Thanks to the generosity of the Parke County Community Foundation, the remaining tuition costs for COMM 101 are being covered after Crossing the Finish Line funds have been applied, helping students continue their educational journey with less financial burden.
