Each semester, a different student artist is selected to have their work displayed in the Condit House, giving us a chance to highlight the creativity and talent of our students.

A new partnership is opening the door to more educational opportunities for Ison Family McDonald’s employees! 🎓🎉

Through Indiana State University’s Preferred Partnership Program, eligible employees can receive the in-state tuition rate plus an additional 15% discount, waived application and enrollment fees, and flexible options to take classes on campus or online.

Ison Family McDonald’s operates 19 locations throughout the greater Cincinnati area and is owned and operated by Indiana State alumnus Jeff Chamness ’99.

Last night, Indiana State University celebrated the dedication of the Thompson Thrift Department of Construction Management at the Bailey College of Engineering and Technology! 🏗️💙

The dedication marked the first corporate sponsorship of an academic department in Indiana State University history and celebrated a longstanding partnership focused on creating more opportunities for students through hands-on learning, industry engagement, and workforce development.

Indiana State University is building on last year’s enrollment gains! This fall, we’ve welcomed 1,607 new freshmen, our largest freshman class in six years, along with double-digit growth in new transfer and graduate enrollment.

Here are a few more highlights from this year:

📈 New transfer enrollment grew 13% to 518 students
💙 New graduate enrollment grew 13% to 505 students
🏡 1,426 new freshmen are Indiana residents, a 4% increase from last fall
🎓 The Honors College welcomed 400 new students, marking the second consecutive year with at least 400 incoming Honors students

These numbers reflect the continued momentum at Indiana State and our commitment to providing an exceptional student experience and helping students succeed from enrollment through graduation.

From Army interior electrician to field service engineer, Sycamore Lea Tice, ’26, has turned her curiosity about electrical and computer systems into a career.

At Indiana State University, Lea earned her degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering Technology and built an autonomous firefighting robot for her senior capstone. She credits her Indiana State professors with helping her recognize her potential and giving her the confidence to build on it.

Today, Lea is a field service engineer at Philips and preparing to continue her education at the University of Colorado Boulder.
