The statement of purpose this organization will be help and support international students of Texas

The Texas A&M University-Texarkana International Studies Office (ISO) seeks to provide global, international experiences for A&M-Texarkana students and faculty by offering opportunities for student exchange and study abroad programs, faculty exchange and collaborative research, and increased partnerships with international institutions. It seeks to continue to maintain A&M-Texarkana’s competitive

role in meeting student participation and success goals via a culturally, politically, and ethnically diverse student body. In doing so, one of the main goals of the ISO is to increase the number of international students at A&M-Texarkana. We strive to create an environment that enhances the academic experience of international students and scholars by providing them with guidance and support, advocacy and programming to the A&M-Texarkana campus community.

Musa is one of our great international students in the MBA program. Barney Self, adjunct instructor in Communication, is his global buddy this semester. Check out Musa’s update from their outing today! “We met at a local coffee shop and discussed the nuances between American and Asian culture, art, and history. Barney introduced me to some locals and we had some nice exchanges with them. I am glad y’all have activities like these because it’s super helpful and Barney is very engaging and fun to be around.”

Hello all,
This is Felipe and me at the PSC. This is my fourth year working in the recreation center, but my first year as a Student Supervisor. A fun fact about this job is that, whenever I applied for it in my freshman year, I applied without a Resume because I didn't know what a Resume was. In my interview, I said I didn't know what a Resume was and when I researched it I figured I knew what it was but called a "CV" in my country. I still got hired and worked my way up to being promoted to a Fitness and Wellness Student Supervisor at the PSC

We had a great time celebrating Diwali and Tihar this week on campus. The community loved learning about these festivals through wonderful student presentations and excellent song and dance performances! 🪔🎆🇳🇵🇮🇳
