Connecting the Classroom to the Trading Floor. 📈

Real-world preparation demands real-world tools. At A&M Texarkana, our students have direct access to 12 dedicated Bloomberg Terminals, the exact same technology driving global financial markets.

By integrating real-time analytics and Bloomberg Certifications directly into our programs, we’re ensuring our graduates don't just enter the workforce, they hit the ground running.

Experience the future of finance at Texas A&M University Texarkana.

RRCUCFL Concept: What is APR?

APR stands for Annual Percentage Rate, the cost of borrowing money if you roll over a balance.

If your credit card has a 25% APR, carrying debt gets expensive fast.

Avoid APR completely by paying your statement balance in full every month!

Great advice from our campus PD! 🦅 Physical safety and financial safety go hand-in-hand.

As they mentioned, "Preparedness starts before the emergency." That applies to your wallet, too. Whether it is an unexpected car repair, a medical co-pay, or a last-minute evacuation, emergencies cost money. This is exactly why the #1 priority at the RRCU Center for Financial Literacy is building a $500–$1,000 Emergency Fund.

Build the buffer so a crisis doesn't force you into high-interest credit card debt. Need help starting yours? Come see us today at 1:00 PM in the Bloomberg Finance Lab (BE 110) for Wellness Wednesday! 🍕

September is National Preparedness Month!

Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing information to help our campus community stay informed, prepared, and ready when it matters most.

We’ll cover emergency alerts, evacuation procedures, fire and life safety, campus safety resources, crime prevention, and how to recognize and report suspicious activity.

Preparedness starts before the emergency.

Wealth Habit: Treat Credit Like Cash

Rule #1 of smart credit card usage: Never charge more than what you currently have in your checking account. Pay your entire balance every month to build your score without handing extra money to banks in interest!

Do you pay your card off monthly, or do you carry a balance?
