October 4th through the 10th is Banned Books Week! Celebrate the freedom to read with EAC Alumni Library by checking out a banned book from our display or stopping by the circulation desk for a free Let Books Be sticker and some censorship facts provided by the American Library Association's Office of Intellectual Freedom! To checkout a MYSTERY banned book from the display: view the book resume in the pocket by pulling on the flame sticking out of the top of the book wrapping, bring it to the circulation desk for checkout, then claim your goodies from the pockets before tearing open the wrapping paper to enjoy the book! **Free goodies with wrapped books on the Banned Books Week display and Let Books Be stickers while supplies last.**

You can learn more about book bans, including 2025 statistics, by visiting ALA.org/BBooks.
