Today, Kappa Epsilon Zeta proudly supported the Throggs Neck Community Alliance Back to School Extravaganza. We generously contributed to and assisted with handing out 1,200 backpacks and school supplies, aiming to ease the burden on families. Additionally, we provided canned foods and fresh vegetables to community members in need. Thank you for supporting our back-to-school drive; together, we donated over 1,500 items. This heartfelt event welcomed 1,200 registrants, bringing our community closer as we prepare for the new school year.

It’s almost time! Pretty soon, students will be heading back to school! In collaboration with the Throggs Neck Community Alliance, the women of Kappa Epsilon Zeta Chapter are collecting new school supplies to help give kids a smart start! Madam 1st VP, Madam 2nd VP, and Madam 3rd VP are looking for YOU.

Who is that you ask? Madam 1st is looking for Sorors to join the PREMIER BRONX CHAPTER. Whether you are ready to reclaim, are new in town seeking a chapter, or a recent graduate looking to continue her Zeta journey, she is ready to bring you HOME to KEZ.

Madam 2nd is looking for those who wish to support us in our mission to serve the Bronx. If you are a potential community partner, there is much work to be done. Join us!

If you know a young lady from ages 4-18 who would benefit from enrichment, guidance, organizational development, and empowerment as a member of our Pearlette, Amicette, or Archonette Club, Madam 3rd is looking for you.

Before the school year closed out, Soror Ashley & Soror Bharati were invited to speak at PS140 for Career Day for the second year in a row.

Sharing about marketing, the beauty industry and entrepreneurship, the students had plenty of questions! Congrats Sorors on inspiring the next generation and showing them what’s possible for them as Bronx natives 💙

As the sorority year comes to a close, we would like to thank our 2024-2026 Executive Board for their service. We would especially like to take this opportunity to show our deep appreciation for our outgoing Chapter President, Dr. Michelyn Johnson, RN for her exceptional work and service to KEZ. Dr. Johnson had a goal to increase our grassroots service to the Bronx community and we accomplished just that. Under your leadership we received awards and recognition on all levels. Your dedication, your grace, and your deep love for KEZ is appreciated by all. Congratulations Madam President, on your successful tenure! Job well done!
