We caught up with some current freshmen in their second semester at CMSV and asked, "Why was College of Mount Saint Vincent the Right Place on the River for you?"

Hey everyone! My name is Hannah Freter and I’m from Maryland. I am a nursing major here at CMSV, I am the president of the freshman class, and I’m also on the Women’s Lacrosse team! This past summer I participated in the MAP Program. I also have an on-campus job, I work in Admissions!!
I am so happy I chose CMSV because I have had so many opportunities, that I never thought I’d get the chance to be involved in! I have connected with so many students on campus and staff by being involved in different things around campus. I was able to go on two leadership retreats this year which opened up new opportunities, being involved on campus has made the college transition so much easier and helped me create amazing bonds with great people!
Never be afraid to ask questions, it can only help you! Hope to see you on campus soon! ⭐️🐬

Hey! My name is Yassin El Haggar I'm from New Jersey, and I'm a business administration major. CMSV has given me experiences that I would've never expected and for a first generation student everyone helps out a lot and there will always be someone to assist you in anything that you would need! CMSV is the right place on the River for me because of all the new friends, people, and connections I have made. Especially being in New York there isn't a limit to your success
