The members of the Student Government Executive Board shall be the SGA President, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Vice President for Student Affairs and Community Relations, the Budget and Finance Commissioner, the Executive Secretary and appointed by the SGA President with the Consent of the Hostos Student Senate an Evening and Part-Time Student Affairs Commissioner and a Campus Affairs Commissioner. SGA Senators

The Hostos Student Senate authorizes programs and activities for the general benefit of the student body. Senators represent the student body at meetings of college or university committees, task forces and conferences.

Can you believe how much fun we had in the fall semester? HOSTOS is our forever home. The 5 of us that are graduating (Megan Michelle Campos, Rainey Colon Cabrera, Dorian Johnson, Ashley Walker, and I, your moderator and president for the last four amazing months, Nichellè Monaé Hemphill), would like to wish you all an amazing and fruitful semester. Please remember self care is extremely important and your grades are as well. One person’s schedule may work for them but might not work for you. Do what YOU can do. Know YOURSELF. There are resources all over campus, trust me you will get unbiased assistance if you request it. and are campus resources that if need be can assist in person and/or virtually, they can even refer you elsewhere if the care you require is unavailable. and are in every single building for your safety, those amazing men and women do a darn great job keeping the students and staff protected at all times, and with respect. The , and are always available to assist you with resources offered on campus, club information, future college information, leadership resources, Student Government information, multi-campus resources. is on the 3rd floor of the C building, Brent is friendly I promise, and open gym is often. is available in the HALC for students that need assistance taking their writing to another level, they will HELP you, not do the work for you. is located in the C building lobby (right next to the turnstiles and pool ((yes we have a POOL, open tuesdays and thursdays 11:30am-1:30, yes you need a swim cap)), which has beautiful works of art displayed. is an amazing resource offered to students in particular fields (2 year degree), that offers students free OMNY cards, textbook stipends, resume workshops, interviewing workshops, unwinding workshops (located in the M building 2nd floor). and are resources for STUDENT PARENTS. . And I LOVE YOU.
