Last week, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs had the pleasure of attending the 15th Annual ULS Academic Summit, hosted by Southeastern Louisiana University, with a WONDERFUL group of students.

Students were invited by their Deans to participate in this event based on their Scholars Expeaux submission. These students were able to showcase their research, creative, and scholarly activity to students and faculty across the University of Louisiana System!

Being selected to participate and represent Nicholls State in this event is a huge honor, and we are so proud of each and every one of these students!

Scholars Expeaux was an incredible success this year! 🎉

As Nicholls State University’s annual research and creative exposition, Scholars Expeaux showcases student and faculty work across a wide range of disciplines, including the Student and Faculty Poster Competition, Humanities Symposium, Performing Arts Showcase, Short Film & Animation Screenings, and Culinary Demonstrations.

This year brought a record-breaking number of participants in the Student Poster Competition, along with an amazing turnout across all events. Congratulations to our 36 student winners, and a sincere thank you to our judges, event organizers, event leaders, and donors for making it all possible.

Events like Scholars Expeaux continue to highlight the incredible work happening across campus and promote student research, creativity, and excellence!
