Students, faculty and staff: please be aware that on Wednesday, December 10, Kean University will follow a Tuesday course schedule. This means that all Tuesday courses will meet at their regular time and location instead of Wednesday courses.

Thank you to all the Kean Ocean students and employees who joined us for our third annual Turkey Trot! It was wonderful to see our campus community come together during this month of gratitude and giving.

A special thank you to Angelo Gingerelli for leading this year’s event, Dr. Alexandra Stribing for bringing her students out to participate and to our Kean Ocean Vets - Andrew Clayton and Brock Torre - for their continued support.

If a class you want to take is full, you may be able to join the course section's waitlist. You’ll receive an email inviting you to join if a seat becomes available! Take action within 24 hours. Remember that waitlisting is NOT the same as registering for a course, and register for an alternate course if you plan to be a full-time student.

Today, Kean Ocean and Ocean County College proudly honored those who served at a “Salute to Veterans” event. Veterans from both campuses shared powerful reflections, joined by remarks from Chancellor Youngblood and President Monaco, who honored the history and meaning behind the flag folding ceremony. The day included a Veterans Breakfast and flag ceremonies, offering a heartfelt tribute to the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their families.

🎃 Kean University at OCC’s Trunk or Treat! 🍬
Kean University joined in the Halloween fun at Ocean County College ’s Trunk or Treat last Tuesday! Our team rolled up in style with the Kean University bus, along with Keanu the Cougar and our amazing Kean Ocean staff, to hand out candy and spread Cougar pride. 🐾💙
It was a great night full of community spirit, laughter, and sweet treats — thank you to OCC for hosting such a fun event and to everyone who stopped by our trunk! 🚍👻

Congratulations to Ocean County College student Adam Sherman, raffle winner of our recent Research Networking Event! This event was co-hosted by OCC and Kean, and Adam is an OCC student conducting research in Astrophysics through Physics II (Honors by Contract). He’s also a Navy veteran and currently serves as the Treasurer & PR Manager for the Student Veterans Organization (SVO) at OCC.

The Research Kit includes:
