We’re just one month away from race day! Lace up for scholarships at our Annual Viking 5K and Fun Run on Sunday, October 4. Join us for a morning of fitness, fun, and giving back, presented by the Ocean County College Foundation, OCC Athletics, and Kean Ocean. Every step helps support scholarships for Ocean County residents. OCC students are eligible for a $15 discount.

Getting ready for the Fall semester? The OCC Bookstore has you covered! 📚📖

The Bookstore will have extended hours next week to make it easier to grab everything you need before classes begin. The Bookstore will be closed Monday, September 7 for Labor Day, open Tuesday, September 8–Thursday, September 10 from 9 a.m.–6 p.m., and Friday, September 11 from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Starting Monday, September 14, Bookstore hours will be Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

Ocean Goes Purple! 💜

Today, members of our campus community are wearing purple to show their support for Ocean Goes Purple, a countywide campaign raising awareness about substance use disorder, reducing the stigma surrounding addiction, and connecting individuals and families with treatment and recovery resources.

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, in partnership with the Ocean County Board of Commissioners, launched Ocean Goes Purple to bring greater awareness and support to our community.

Starting this fall, students enrolled in Ocean County College’s Nursing Program will be eligible to apply for zero-interest, no-fee loans through the New Jersey Pay It Forward Program to help cover tuition and fees.

Eligible students may also qualify for monthly living stipends, emergency financial assistance and mental health support services. That means more support to help students complete their nursing education and take the next step toward a career as a registered nurse.
