I don’t have cable, so subscribed to Sling so Pamela Stinson and I could watch the OSU-UCF football game on ESPN. We would have had a lot more fun watching a rerun of “The floor is Lava.” Am I the only one who thinks Mike Gundy may be feeling too comfortable after OSU tore up several blocks of Stillwater residents’ houses to build new toys for him and his teams. On the sidelines he looks like a mannequin. Does he even want to win anymore?

This wonderful March 10-19, 2023 NOC Global Community trip (open to anyone — students AND non-students!!) is filling up quickly. We have a great group signed up already and they’re all looking forward to exploring the sites, culture, food, and coffee of Italy, Greece, and the Vatican! We’ve done this tour 4 times - it’s definitely a fan favorite and will sell out!

There are still some spaces left so feel free to checkout the info and zip me questions if you’ve got them - or sign-up from the website or phone number. Perfect for friends, families, couples, and especially solo travelers.

We won’t be including the islands extension, but you can certainly do a customized “stay behind” option and visit some Greek islands or perhaps Istanbul...

For detailed information or to enroll (easy interest-free monthly payments available) - visit: www.efcst.com/2501304DA - or email [email protected] if you have any questions. Three credit hours of international humanities are available for college students or eligible high school students.

The NOC Gateway to the Humanities program mission is changing. We will no longer be sponsoring international travel opportunities (though Northern Oklahoma College continues to do so through our extensive Global Education offerings). Instead, we are refocusing on our original mission--offering educational and cultural opportunities such as field trips, domestic travel opportunities, guest lecturers and performers, and more. Check back here soon for information about upcoming events beginning in August when the fall semester begins. For more information, email Dr. Don Stinson at [email protected].
