Senior Honor Society Colgate We are Colgate University's senior honor society which recognizes dedication to service, leadership, and tradition.

K*nosioni is a Senior Honor Society composed of 26 peer-selected members. The group originated in 1934 when two secret societies, the Skull and Scroll and Gorgon’s Head, resolved to end their “rivalry” and joined together to form K*nosioni. Intended to honor the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the name ‘K*nosioni’ has been mistranslated from Mohawk language to incorrectly mean “people of the longhouse.” We have since changed our name to stop the appropriation of the Haudenosaunee word.

Introducing out next performer!

Safety Fourth is a student led band on campus composed of every class year and playing every genre under the sun! Music is our passion despite our varying majors (sorry there’s too many too list!). We primarily play alternative music with some R&B and pop-punk. We are excited to play some covers, from the 60s until today.

Another Performer Intro:

Colin is a senior from Moraga, CA who writes and performs indie rock under the name Renouncer. Davi is a singer-songwriter and cellist from Peekskill, NY who writes indie folk and rock music when he’s not playing in one of Colgate’s classical ensembles. The pair have been playing and writing together since their first semester, and they're very excited to be performing a selection of original songs and covers.

Meet our next Performer!

Jon Castillo is a sophomore student at Colgate University originally from Lawrence, Massachusetts and Glastonbury, Connecticut. Jon sings and writes Pop, Ballad Pop, and R&B music that he independently releases on streaming services like Spotify and iTunes. He received two callbacks from the Voice, released two albums, and continues to write, release, and perform music!

Get to know the performers for this Saturday’s fundraiser!

Jamie and John, also known as Shortcake and Hultenius, are both music majors in the graduating class of ‘22. Friends since the start of their time at Colgate through a shared love for musical expression and live entertainment, the two started a radio show “The Vinyl Countdown” to play and discuss modern rock and indie music. Trained as studio musicians, Shortcake and Hultenius have jammed and written songs together, but this will be their debut live performance. They are excited to play both original pieces as well as covers.

Got some free time this Saturday? Interested in local music?? Want prizes??? THS is hosting our annual fundraiser event SATURDAY @ Good Nature Brewery starting at NOON and going ALL AFTERNOON!!! Concert is open to all with a small donation being given at the door. Only got time for a few acts? No worries! Upon donating, you will be given a wrist band that allows you to come and go as you please throughout the day. Raffle baskets will be open during the whole event as well, and each attendee will get a ticket with their donation with more to be purchased as needed. All proceeds will go to a local indigenous organization!

Saturday (4/23). Noon-10pm. Good Nature Brewery. See you there!
