Masque and Triangle

Masque and Triangle Colgate University's Student Theater Society

Masque and Triangle was founded prior to the 1960s and, in the past decade, has been revamped and is now back and better than ever! Serving as an advisory organization to several student theater arts groups on campus, Masque and Triangle produces performances each semester to showcase the incredible talent of Colgate students.

Colgate Masque and Triangle supports the Colgate Student Coalition in condemning police brutality and racial profiling. We recognize that atrocities including the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, and so many more are not isolated incidents but symptoms of deeply embedded racism that will take major systemic change to break down.

The Coalition hopes to raise $72k, the cost of attendance for one academic year at Colgate, over the course of 13 days. The money raised will be donated to bail funds through a number of organizations including the Chicago Community Bond Fund, Silicon Valley Democratic Socialists of America, Dallas Luke 4:18 Bail Fund, and NYC Liberty Fund. You can learn more about their mission and the organizations being funded on Instagram or by following the link below. Since beginning to fundraise on June 5th, the Coalition has already raised over $30k.

We urge you to contribute if you are able and spread the word. The fundraiser will remain open until June 18th and the link to donate is below.

Today we are raising our voices and standing against a legacy of police brutality that has resulted in the unjustified harm and deaths of unarmed and law-abiding citizens in our nation.

The Importance of Being Earnest opens in less than a week! Meet Nate Parkman! He'll be playing Lane!

Nate Parkman '21 is positively delighted to be making his M&T performance debut as Lane, the sad old butler with a heart of gold. He had a blast co-directing Smokefall for M&T last year, and is looking forward to the inevitable thrills and fun of Earnest. He'd like to dedicate his performance to his dear departed goldfish... Bubbles, you are still loved.
