The sign up for a Fall 2026 social group membership is now available!

Membership Benefits:

-Entry into each social group this semester
-1 time visitor form and transportation form submission
-1 extra raffle ticket each week
-Front of the food line for the Fall Formal social group (October 2nd at South Campus Pavilion)

We have 40 membership packages available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registration is considered complete when the following are completed by September 11th:
1. You put your name on this list
2. Complete the $140 payment
3. Submit both the visitor and transportation form

If the list is full when you go to sign-up, please contact Brittany at [email protected] to put yourself on the waitlist. We will notify you by September 11th if a membership spot becomes available.

If a spot does not become available for membership, we invite you to attend social group via our A-La-Carte option. Those who have attended social groups in the past will be familiar with this process. Social Group email announcements are sent by 4 p.m. on Fridays, a week prior to when a social group is scheduled. The first 35 people who enter their name on the sign up are automatically accepted into the group. The first A-La-Carte option sign up email will be sent September 11th at 4 pm.

Selecting a program does not guarantee program acceptance. You will be notified if there is space in the programs for you to attend.

We are now accepting applications for the Fall 2026 session of the Autism Hiring Program at Towson University!

Wrapped up summer groups with an art showcase!

Greetings,
Programs begin either this upcoming week or the following and we still have spots available in the following programs. Whether you’re already signed up for group(s) this summer and want to switch, add one, or maybe your joining at the tail end of the registration process, we have some opportunities for you!

5 week programs beginning the week of June 22nd:

Multimodal Narratives- Wednesdays from 2-3PM $180- In this group, all communication styles and modalities are welcome, as participants create a cumulative “portfolio" about their lives, special interests, or strengths. TU students will co participate in crafting narratives. Examples of “portfolios” include: a newsletter, a music playlist, a poster, a PowerPoint, a poem, a script, etc.

4 or 5 week programs beginning the week of June 29th or July 6th

Top Golf- Thursdays 11-12PM (4 week program and begins on July 9th) $90: This program is specifically designed as an opportunity for individuals to engage in a Golf series for 4 weeks. This will take place at Top Golf Baltimore and individuals are expected to provide or obtain their own transportation to and from that location.

Self Management- Mondays 4-5:30PM $180- This program will support participants with managing their self-confidence and self-esteem across different areas of life. We will explore common challenges, discuss potential vulnerabilities, and share suggestions and guidance related to managing feelings, emotions and behaviors when encountering difficult situations.

Improv & Acting- Thursdays from 1:00-2:30PM $175- with support from a professional actor, individuals will engage in games and activities to demonstrate components of acting including improvisation, voice acting and more.

5 week programs beginning the week of June 22nd:

1. A Social AAC Group- Mondays from 2-3PM $150- Calling all AAC users: come hang out with other device users and show off your personality! Speech students will be in the group to aid AAC users in efficient, effective, and personalized use of their communication system. Participants of all stages of AAC use are welcome (whether you just got your device or have been using it for multiple decades).

2. Programs are scheduled to be here at the Hussman Center or on the campus of Towson University. Programs are 5 weeks in duration unless otherwise indicated.
