Join Us for a Special Day in Travelers Rest!

On Thursday, September 17, we invite our residents and visitors to join us in Downtown Travelers Rest as we officially unveil the Charters of Freedom and dedicate our new Charters of Freedom Plaza, located next to the Dicey Langston statue.

This special dedication gives our community a place to experience and reflect on the documents that helped shape our nation.

We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate Constitution Day and mark this meaningful addition to our community.

🌯🔥 WHAT A HOT & HAPPENING GRAND OPENING! 🔥🌯

Today was officially sizzling in Travelers Rest as we celebrated the grand opening of QDOBA, our newest GTRCC member ! 🎉🌯 And with temperatures to match, it was definitely a hot event in more ways than one! ☀️🔥

Managed by Thrive Restaurant Group, this new QDOBA is part of a network of more than 800 locations across the U.S. 🇺🇸 We were thrilled to celebrate alongside local elected officials, the QDOBA team members, and Greater Travelers Rest Chamber of Commerce members.

And the excitement was REAL—the first 100 lucky customers received free QDOBA for an entire year! 🙌🌯

We’re so excited to welcome QDOBA to our community and encourage everyone to stop by, grab a burrito, bowl, tacos, or your QDOBA favorite, and show this new Travelers Rest business some love! ❤️

🗂️ SHRED. REUSE. GIVE BACK. 🧥

It’s time to clean out those old documents! Join the Greater Travelers Rest Chamber of Commerce for a FREE Document Shredding Event on Saturday, November 7, from 9 AM–12 PM at Trailblazer Park.

Bring up to 3 bags or boxes of documents to be securely shredded on-site. And once they’re empty, you can take your boxes or bags back home to reuse!

But we’re doing more than shredding—we’re also helping keep our community warm. ❤️

We’re partnering with the YMCA to collect new and gently used coats for neighbors in need. Bring a coat donation with you to Shred Day and help us give back!

🧠 June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, and a portion of ALL sales, ALL day will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's – Greenville.
