Join Workout Anytime North Greenville—a valued GTRCC member—for their Murph Challenge on May 16 from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.

This high-energy, all-levels event honors fallen service members while raising funds for the LT Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships and preserves the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Lt. Michael Murphy was a U.S. Navy SEAL awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for his heroic actions during Operation Red Wings in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.

The "Murph Challenge" is a famous CrossFit "Hero WOD" (Workout of the Day) created in his honor—often performed on Memorial Day—consisting of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and a final 1-mile run, usually wearing a 20lb vest.
