Yesterday was a jam-packed day at our annual retreat for our college presidents! We are grateful to all of our guest speakers, including the Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of Higher Education, State COO, Commissioner of Labor & Workforce Development, Chairwoman of the Assembly Higher Education Committee, and staff from our Congressional delegation. We had the chance to discuss important issues in public higher education, including affordability, funding, and workforce pipelines. Thank you to all who attended and made the event a success!

Proud to attend today's press conference where Governor Mikie Sherrill signed legislation to create a social media research center at a public institution of higher education. We look forward to supporting this work to develop actionable policy solutions that make a difference in the lives of our kids! Thank you to the bill sponsors for this important legislation and the recognition of the power of research at our public colleges and universities.

Congratulations, Olivia! We love to see students engaged in state higher education policy!

A seat at the table will bring a student perspective to state-level policy decisions. When many Roadrunners are focused more than ever on receiving an affordable and accessible education, one will actually be acting as a student voice with NJ higher education decisions-makers this coming academic year. Olivia Ha ’28 will serve on the HESAA, New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority Board’s Student Advisory Committee (SAC). Way to go, Olivia, we’re proud to have you advocate for your peers and to represent RCNJ.

A historic first for Ramapo College! Student leader Sarah Glisson ‘26 has been named a 2026 Truman Scholar, the first time a Roadrunner has ever received the premier graduate scholarship for aspiring public service leaders in the United States.
