The Grand Lodge of New Jersey is thrilled to share updates filled with community spirit and impactful initiatives. This April, we recognize Autism Acceptance, Child Abuse Prevention, and Stress Awareness Months—reminding us of the importance of family and support. Join us in celebrating our Masons in Action who recently raised over $10,000 for domestic violence services. Together, we can make a difference!

On Sunday, April 5th, The Trenton Masonic Temple will be one of the stops for the "Revolutionary Run" being made from Wilmington, Delaware to Lexington, Massachusetts. There are 3 goals for the run. The first is to bring attention to America's 250th Anniversary. The second goal is to celebrate the 50th year of the Scottish Rite Museum and Library in Lexington and also to pay tribute to the role many Freemasons played in the American Revolution, 250 years ago.

The name of the runner is Patrick Atkinson, a proud Scottish Rite Freemason, and an experienced long-distance runner, will run 333 miles over 8 days. His route will take him through many areas that witnessed historic events during the American Revolution. Patrick is undertaking this extraordinary journey, running 50-60 miles a day, to raise awareness about the museum, to mark the events surrounding the founding of the United States and—most importantly—to connect with people, history, and Freemasons along the way.

If you would like to be a part of the welcoming committee for his stop here in Trenton plan on being here at 2pm on Sunday, April 5th. There is about a 40 minute window where he will be spending time here and getting a quick refresher. If you would like to make a donation or just read more about his effort just click on the link below.
