Happy Pride Month to our sorors, partners, and friends!

Delta Sigma Theta has always stood for love, inclusion, and respecting the full dignity of every person. While we remain anchored in that legacy, we also acknowledge the need to continue to evolve with intention by championing affirming policies, and forging a culture where every member is seen, valued, and protected.

This Pride Month, we honor and celebrate the beautiful diversity and strength of the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm our commitment to being allies in the fight for a better future where the freedom to love and exist in one’s authentic identity is not contingent on the political climate. Especially when that freedom is being challenged, we choose to show up louder, love harder, and stand firmer in our commitment to justice for all.

Spring Into Wellness 2026 was everything we hoped it would be—and more.

Thank you to our vendors, community partners, panelists, volunteers, and everyone who showed up to support. Because of you, this was a powerful day of health, connection, and community.

Special thanks to the Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) for your support, and to the Premier Health YMCA for your partnership—we’re grateful to be welcomed back for 2027.

From impactful health screenings and resources to powerful conversations during our Barbershop Talk and women’s panel, this event reflected what happens when community and care come together.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to next year.

Motherhood is a journey where the days feel long and the years are short, yet the love poured into each moment leaves an imprint that lasts a lifetime.

Today we honor our beautiful mothers — those who guide our steps, watch ahead for danger, and pour themselves into others without hesitation. From mothers by birth to grandmothers, godmothers, and every mother figure who stands in the gap, your love is the foundation upon which we stand.

We also hold space for our sisters experiencing the complexity of joy and grief on this day. For those navigating their own experience of becoming a mother, and those missing the presence of theirs — we see you, we are you, and we love you.

To every woman who has ever loved like a mother: your journey has paved the path we walk today. Anchored in the legacy you have built and evolving with the intention you have modeled, we carry you with us in every step forward. Happy Mother’s Day!
