🚑 Big news from Sand Lake Ambulance!
After six months of study and training, we have officially launched our Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) program — making us, along with North Greenbush Ambulance Association the first EMS agencies in Rensselaer County to offer this lifesaving service to our community.
RSI is an advanced treatment for critically ill or injured patients who can't breathe on their own. It requires specialized training and equipment that most ambulances don't carry — which means our neighbors now have access to a level of emergency care that can make the difference between life and death.
