The future of medicine is personalized, and brain health is no exception. 🧠
As one of the 2026 BIO5 Postdoctoral Fellows, Yilin Liu is developing more personalized brain stimulation treatments for Alzheimer's disease and age-related cognitive decline under the mentorship of BIO5 member Ying-Hui Chou at University of Arizona College of Science.
By combining brain imaging, machine learning and non-invasive brain stimulation, her research aims to better understand why treatments work for some patients but not others, paving the way for more individualized care.
Through the BIO5 Postdoctoral Fellowship, Liu will expand her expertise in precision neuromodulation while building toward an independent research program focused on preserving cognitive health.
This year-long fellowship supports early-career researchers through interdisciplinary mentorship and professional development opportunities.
