Assistant Professor Zicheng Cheng is helping students explore that question through hands-on experience with AI tools, discussions with newsroom professionals and research projects focused on understanding technology’s impact on media.

Congratulations to Associate Professor Susan Swanberg, who was named a 2026-2027 Faculty Affairs Fellow for Academic Freedom by the Office of the Vice Provost.
