The CIE Office transformed into a cozy theater again on Friday for another amazing Movie Day American Culture Workshop event for international and study abroad students. From Tucson to the Wild Atlantic Way!

Nine incredible Pima Community College students just returned home after a life-changing 10-day study abroad experience in Ireland! After starting their history coursework at West Campus in May, these students took their learning across the Atlantic, using the beautiful seaside town of Bundoran as their home base.

Swipe through to see them exploring some of Ireland’s most historic and breathtaking spots, including: The O’Donnell Donegal Castle, The ancient Beltany Stone Circle, The powerful Markievicz Statue in Sligo

From walking across the mystical fairy bridges to visiting the Gaelic-speaking Arranmore Island and taking in the towering Sliabh Liag Cliffs, these students truly made Ireland their campus!

Exploring new horizons doesn't just change where you are, it changes who you are. A major highlight of our current initiatives is the group of 13 Pima Community College students participating in a transformative study abroad program to China! Through the Young Envoy Scholarship (YES) and strong support by our partner, Wuhan Railway Vocational College of Technology, these students are representing our community on a global stage. Whether it’s through navigating new cities, learning new skills in the classrooms, or collaborating with peers across the globe, international education is a powerful catalyst for personal and professional growth!

Are you ready to start your journey? Stop by the Center for International Education to learn more about our study abroad programs, and how you can make the world your classroom! 🎓✈️
