Meet your Peer Mentors! Paige Wene is a senior majoring in Microbiology with a minor in Health & Human Values.

I'm a Research Assistant in Dr. Madhavan’s laboratory, I enjoy listening to fellow CALES students, learning about resources, and motivating others! In my free time I bake, swim, go to the gym, and spend time with friends. 🍰

The CALES Recruitment team invited future animal sciences & veterinary science students to experience the Al-Marah Equine Center earlier this month.

As part of the network of the Southern Arizona Experiment Station, Al-Marah Equine Center (AMEC) is an 88-acre equine facility located 11 miles east of the University of Arizona's main campus. The facility is a regulated, bio-secure facility for teaching and research. 🐎

We're always excited to show students how they can put science to work here in CALES!
