An Organization that Prepares Students in Agriculture to Lead the Next Generation of Innovation & Technology
The University of Arizona’s Collegiate Young Farmers & Ranchers is an organization for students who are currently studying all areas of the agricultural industry, from production to banking, from plant sciences to economics, and everything in-between.
Supported largely by our state’s Arizona Young Farmers & Ranchers, Arizona Farm Bureau, and local Pima County Farm Bureau programs, the U of A Collegiate chapter is able to experience life-changing opportunities that mold today’s student into tomorrow’s agricultural industry leader.
Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers are active agriculturists and agricultural supporters aged 18 to 35 who are involved in every aspect of the agricultural industry. These outstanding individuals develop leadership skills while volunteering time as active, vital members of the county Farm Bureaus.
Members of Young Farmers and Ranchers add their voices to those of their peers as they speak out for agriculture. As we develop skills and knowledge, our efforts will help Farm Bureau to effectively represent all farmers and ranchers no matter what challenges we face in the future. Together, we can help close the growing gap that separates the producer from the consumer - one meal, and one conversation at a time.
