As the new year begins, University of Arizona Information Technology Services will be saying goodbye to our CIO for the past 7 years and welcoming a new interim CIO. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with and for Barry Brummund and will miss his leadership. I wish him the best of success in his next career step! We welcomed Dr. Elliott Cheu last week in an all-division meeting. He made an immediate positive impression, and I am confident he will inspire us to move through this transition. Change can be difficult, or it can be an opportunity to renew our values and goals. I look forward to the time we will have with Dr. Cheu as we move forward.
