Do you have a mind for research? Do you like working with young teenagers? Are you passionate about making a difference for young children and families? Do you like working part-time? If you said yes to all these questions, our Part-Time SEED Research Associate position might be the job for you!

We hope to hire 3-4 part-time research associates to work from mid-November through spring 2027, traveling to middle schools in the Tulsa area to assess 8th graders who participate in our School Experiences and Early Development (SEED) longitudinal study.

The Early Childhood Education Institute (ECEI) at the University of Oklahoma is looking for both a full-time and a part-time Bilingual Spanish-English Research Associate to join our team.

These are hands-on research roles working with young children, teachers, families, and early childhood programs across our research projects. You’ll help collect meaningful data, build trusted relationships, and make sure the voices and experiences of diverse communities are represented in our work.

We're searching for our next full-time bilingual research associate! Research Associates administer child assessments and classroom observations, conduct field-based research, and work with our CAP Tulsa and Educare projects, among others. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of research, early childhood education, or social service experience. This position is bilingual preferred; some overnight travel may be required. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $48,000 for this full-time, benefits-eligible position, which will start sometime in early September.

JOIN OUR TEAM! The ECEI is searching for a full-time bilingual Research Associate to work across projects conducting child assessments, classroom observations, and other project-related duties. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of research, early childhood education, or social service experience. Candidates must be bilingual (Spanish) and able to travel within Oklahoma to qualify for this position. The salary range for this position is $45,000-48,000 per year; it comes with full benefits. Estimated start date is in early September.
