The Transformative Tutoring Initiative at the Jeanine Rainbolt College of Education is seeking OU and University of Tulsa students interested in tutoring Algebra 1 with students at Tulsa Public Schools this academic year.

Each tutor will work with three high school students three times per week on-site during school hours. Students will have the opportunity to earn $4,700 per semester!

As Oklahoma child care centers navigate ongoing funding challenges, strong partnerships between universities and early childhood programs are more important than ever. Through OU-Tulsa’s Early Childhood Education Institute (ECEI), local Research Training Partners like Crosstown Learning Center and The Preschool at Kirk Crossing provide valuable opportunities for staff to practice child assessments and classroom quality observations.

In return, partner sites receive incentives and specialized materials designed to support the use of research-based tools that improve outcomes for young children and families.
