🩺 Special Guest Speaker — Men in Nursing at TCC! 💙

We're excited to welcome Nick, a December 2025 nursing graduate who currently works as an RN in the Surgical/Neuro/Trauma ICU at Saint Francis Hospital!

Come hear about his transition from nursing school into critical care, what it's like working in the ICU, and advice for students preparing to begin their own nursing careers.

Join us September 29th at 4 PM as we welcome LJ Hasson, May 2026 TCC Nursing graduate, back to campus as our featured speaker! 🩺💙

LJ will be sharing his experience through nursing school, what he learned along the way, and advice for students working toward graduation themselves.

The TCC Men in Nursing are back at it again this summer at the OSU Youth Medical Mentorship event! We had a great time connecting with local high school students and encouraging those interested in pursuing careers in Healthcare!

Today, the Men in Nursing had the opportunity to visit Central High School and speak with 45 students about the importance of health and what nurses do in the community.
We’re proud to help inspire the next generation and share what nursing is all about! 💙🩺

🎉 We’re also excited for our upcoming Cinco de Mayo Potluck on May 5th at 4 PM (SU 200), we’ll have tacos and chips, among other treats!
Feel free to come hang out, and you’re welcome to bring a dish or drink to share (no pressure).

Last week we had some phenomenal food thanks to Andolinis Pizza 🍕 and their generous donation to the Men in Nursing!
We also had the great pleasure of having guest speaker and TCC Alumni Ian Dosh! He told us about the importance of self care and safety precautions one can take to protect oneself as a nurse in the field! 💪
Join us at our final meeting for the semester on May 5th! - Location to be determined ⏳️
