Who knew learning the anatomy of a tooth could be this creative? 🦷🎨

Our Dental Assistant students had the creative freedom to design their own tooth while labeling and learning the different parts, from the crown and enamel to the pulp, root, apex, gingiva, and periodontal ligament.

And they definitely got creative! We had everything from a piñata and cookies to painted canvases, poster board, and cardstock designs. Each student presented their project to the class and answered questions about the different parts of the tooth.

We love seeing how each student finds their own way to learn and bring their ideas to life! 👏

Our Medical Assistant students are putting their skills into action and making a difference in our community!

Through a partnership with CREOKS, our MA students participated in Fall Prevention events, providing health screenings and demonstrations to help community members stay healthy, active, and safe.

From blood pressure checks and blood sugar testing to depression screenings and crutch/walker gait demonstrations, students had the opportunity to practice their skills while connecting with and supporting real patients.

A big thank you to CREOKS for welcoming our students and giving them the opportunity to learn, serve, and make an impact beyond the classroom!

Hoof care is a big part of keeping horses healthy! 🐴

Our Veterinary Assistant students got hands-on practice learning how to safely lift, clean, and inspect a horse’s hooves while learning why proper hoof care is so important for their overall health and mobility.
